At Murray Edwards we pride ourselves on being a friendly and welcoming team and we love hearing from prospective applicants to discuss any aspect of the application process. We know that making good decisions about what you want to do and where you want to study is important. Good information matters and we are here to help you with this. Do take a look at our programme of Open Days, Events and Visits, download our prospectus or contact us directly: we normally reply within three working days of hearing from you.

We are responsible for all undergraduate recruitment and selection procedures at the College – from initial contact with prospective applicants through to them taking up their place at Cambridge.

Dr Andrew Bond – Director of Admissions (STEM)

I oversee admissions in the Science subjects (including Medicine) at Murray Edwards. I am a chemist, and also involved in research and teaching at the Yusuf Hamied Department of Chemistry

Dr Stuart Palmer – Director of Admissions (Arts/Humanities/Social Sciences)

I oversee the admissions process for all of the Arts, Humanities, and Social Science subjects at Murray Edwards, from reading through applications to taking part in a range of interviews for Arts and Humanities subjects. I'm a historian of Early Modern Britain and am an active teacher and researcher in this field; I am also a teaching associate on the Cambridge Foundation Year Programme

    Kate Morton – Admissions Administrator

I take responsibility for all the administrative processes involving selection, offers and confirmation. I am always happy to answer enquiries from those applying to the College and am pleased to assist the students who have secured an offer, up to the point at which they join the College. I have worked in this role for many years and very much enjoy welcoming each new group of applicants.
