Library Book Group

Join Valerie, the Assistant Librarian for our informal book group run jointly with Medwards Lit Soc.  Reading for pleasure and making connections with people are both great for your mental health!  The book group is open to all staff, students and fellows at the College and will meet in the bar on Tuesday 25 April at 17.00.  Our book for Easter term will be Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen.  Please watch any of the film adaptations in the DVD collection, read the book available in the library (825.7 AUS) or read the electronic book via iDiscover.

MEdwards Meanders

Join the gardeners for a wellbeing walk every Tuesday during Easter Term 11.30-11.45. Meet in the outdoor walkway outside the Library (ground floor). On 16 May the walk will be art-focused, with Women's Art Collection Curator Harriet.

Virtual wellbeing activities

If you're unable to attend yoga in person why not try one of Valerie's yoga video’s from the Library YouTube Channel.

Unwind with Valerie’s online 3 minute meditation video. There are also different mediation scripts you can try; go for a walk in the forest or relax your muscles using our body scan script instead.

Virtual crafts and wellbeing walks that can viewed at any time, are also available on the Rosemary Murray Library YouTube channel.
