    Shadowing Scheme - Cambridge SU (Students' Union)

    An opportunity for students with little or no experience of university to find out what life as a Cambridge student is really like:

    • Stay with a current Cambridge student who is studying the subject you are interested in
    • Attend lectures, supervisions
    • Take part in extra-curricular activities
    • Find out more about the application process

    Who is the event for?

    Students in Year 12 (England and Wales), S5 (Scotland) and Year 13 (Northern Ireland) who have little or no experience of university; applications are especially welcome from those who would be the first in their immediate family to attend university, or those who are currently underrepresented such as Care-Experienced and Estranged Students, Young Carers, Refugees, and those from minority ethnic backgrounds.  

    When does the Shadowing Scheme run?

    The Shadowing Scheme usually runs for three weekends (Thursday afternoon – Saturday morning) in late January and early February. Please check the Cambridge SU website for the latest information.
