The Development Office Team
Fiona Duffy, Development Director

Fiona joined the College as Development Director in November 2013. Prior to this, Fiona worked at University College London where she was Head of Principal Gifts. She is very familiar with Cambridge, both from being a former member of the University fundraising team, and as a former Assistant Development Director at Girton College. Fiona was also Head of Development at The Women's Library, London. Fiona works closely with the President to develop a fundraising programme to support the College's ambitions for the future.
Claire Cosgrave, Deputy Development Director

Claire joined the College in December 2017 supporting Fiona and the Development Team in delivering the College’s fundraising programme. Having grown up in Cambridge, she studied Fine Art at Norwich School of Art and Design before embarking on a career in fundraising at Handel & Hendrix in London and then moving to the London Sinfonietta. Claire enjoys a special connection with the College through a painting by her late mother being part of the New Hall Art Collection.
Linda Hanssler, Relationship Manager

Linda joined the Development Office in June 2018, with extensive relationship management experience from previously running the academic events at The Rockefeller University and promoting education in diplomatic representations, for both the Quebec Government as well as the Cultural Services of the French Embassy, in New York. Linda has also previously worked in international education and the teaching of languages in Brazil and France. Linda is thrilled at having joined the College and is honoured to be part of such a vibrant community. She looks forward to working with alumnae and friends of the College to help them give their "‘Time, Talent and Treasure’ to support our key priorities.”
Gemma Hayden, Development Officer (Research and Stewardship)

Gemma joined the College in 2008, and has held various posts in the Development Office and Events Team. Prior to this she worked for Barclays Bank, holding senior positions in their local Customer Services and Customer Relations Teams. Since joining the Development Office in 2011 Gemma has helped to arrange our events, including our 60th anniversary celebrations, and has been responsible for the maintenance of our alumnae database. In 2015, Gemma started a new role in the team implementing a stewardship programme for the College, ensuring all our donors are thanked and acknowledged, while making sure the donations are being distributed as agreed. Gemma is also responsible for identifying new potential donors to our fundraising campaign.
Jane Mumford, Development Officer (Alumnae Relations) & PA to Fiona Duffy (maternity cover for Claire Hill)

Jane joined the Development Team in March 2019. Before this, she worked for the Judge Business School and the Engineering Department at Cambridge University. Jane works with alumnae and supports them to give their 'Time and Talent', for example in the College's mentoring scheme. She also works closely with the Events Officer and provides support to the Director of Development.
Paulina Johnson, Development Officer (Data)

Paulina joined the Development Office in November 2016. She is responsible for the maintenance of our alumnae database by providing database support to the team, including data and database management. An experienced database person with hands-on experience overseeing the design, development and maintenance of various database systems, Paulina previously worked for various charities including ActionAid International, CBM UK and Samaritan’s Purse UK/BGEA UK.

Lauren joined the College as Alumnae Relations Officer (Events) in July 2017. Prior to this, Lauren worked in the same role at Newnham College. As an alumna of Lucy Cavendish College (2015) Lauren knows the women’s colleges of Cambridge well. Lauren manages and implements the diverse range of events we hold both in College and elsewhere for our alumnae.
