Dr Haibo E is an AI startup advisor and angel investor through HerMission (bonus points for those that get the maths pun!). She was previously the Exec responsible for Product on the Leadership Team of Wayve, a startup using deep learning and generative AI to solve autonomous driving. Before that she was at Google Deepmind, where she investigated the societally beneficial real world applications of AI. She is also a curriculum advisor to the London Interdisciplinary School. Later this year, she will be building a new company to address emotional wellbeing and human flourishing with new AI tools.
Haibo is passionate about culture and ethical business models. Her product thesis is that a company's culture will give rise to the products it builds, because our culture drives the decisions we make at every level, and thus the products our teams build.
Haibo holds a PhD (DPhil) from the University of Oxford and a bachelors and masters degree from the University of Cambridge in Natural Sciences (Physics) with Computer Science.
