Laura Moseley

Curator

Laura joined The Women’s Art Collection as Assistant Curator in May 2024, and has worked as Curator from February 2026. 

Laura has a BA in History of Art from the University of York, winning the dissertation prize for the thesis 'Indigenous and Modern Textiles: Ancient America in the Work of Anni Albers and Cecilia Vicuna' and an MA from University College London in History of Art, also winning the dissertation prize for the thesis 'A Diary of Touch: Rhetorics of Queer Identity in Contemporary Quilting Practices'.

Laura also runs her own publishing project, Common Threads Press, an independent publisher of books that uplift histories of creative work. Before The Women's Art Collection, Laura worked at Kettle's Yard and the University of East Anglia.
