Harriet Loffler

Director of the Women’s Art Collection

Harriet has worked on the Women’s Art Collection at the College since 2018. As Curator from 2018–2026, Harriet was responsible for creating several acclaimed exhibitions including 'The Goddess, the Deity and the Cyborg' as well as the touring partnership exhibition 'A Spirit Inside' with the Ingram Collection and Compton Verney. 

She brings extensive experience in modern and contemporary art, curatorial practice, and public programming. Prior to joining the College, Harriet was Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art at Norwich Castle Museum & Art Gallery from 2009 to 2018, where she led contemporary exhibitions, publications, partnership projects, and collection development.  Harriet has worked with Tate, the Museum of Modern Art, New York, and Frieze London, and holds an MA in Curating Contemporary Art from the Royal College of Art. She is an active contributor to conferences, panels, and public art commissions, and was a Trustee of the David Parr House from 2019 to 2021.
