The President was in Singapore and Hong Kong last week with a particular focus on meeting alumnae. She was pleased to hear how much they had enjoyed their time in New Hall / Murray Edwards, and in both cities alumnae wanted to reinvigorate the alumnae informal networking.

In Hong Kong there was also a focus on our Art Collection, as six works by Hong Kong women artists have been donated to the College. This now forms part of the Collection and will be launched in College in March 2019, for International Women’s Day.

The President also met the recently appointed Vice-Chancellor of CUHK, Professor Rocky Tuan. During the visit she met with representatives of the Clinical School where our medical students have been warmly received for their electives.

She also spoke to over 100 men and women about the College’s Collaborating with Men programme which is working with men and women to change workplace culture to be more inclusive for women. The very engaged audience included men and women from law firms and banks.
