This summer, after I finished my second year in biological Natural Sciences, I used my Gateway Funding to fund the living costs for my two work experiences in Neurology and Psychiatry in Cambridge. I hope to pursue a Graduate Entry medical course after my current degree, but this is a significant time and financial commitment.
Through my funding I experienced first-hand what it means to be a doctor, and this has strongly affirmed my choice to pursue a medical career. I am very grateful to the college for providing me with the financial support to experience this and guiding my future career path.
