The Gabe Society for MMLL and HML students at Murray Edwards met on 10 March for its first in-person meeting since lockdown. There were three excellent talks by final year students followed by discussion and dinner.
The presentations were by Tess Lambert: “Buntschatten und Fledermäuse: Translating Autism through Autobiography“, Caja Göbel: “The Dative as a vulnerable domain in Heritage German“ and Martha Bevan: “Tales of Odessa: A City between Myth and Reality“.
It was a most enjoyable and stimulating evening!
