Music & Words - The Restorative Power of Nature
with Dr Susan Imrie

Free and open to all - refreshments provided after.
The Music & Words series is unique amongst Cambridge college choirs as a secular equivalent to the traditional Choral Evensong and presents choral music and readings, curated to fit with a ‘thought for the day’ style talk.
Our very own Dr Susan Imrie, Head of Wellbeing, will advocate for taking time for a change of perspective and moments of awe in Nature. Good advice for our stressed students!
Inter Alios Choir - Sundays, 5:45pm
The Chapel at Churchill or Murray Edwards College Dome
The joint choir of Churchill & Murray Edwards alternately lead an Anglican Choral Evensong in the Chapel at Churchill or perform a Music & Words event in the Dome at Murray Edwards.
Evensongs feature traditional choral music performed by the choir along with congregational singing of hymns. The sermon is delivered either by the Chaplain Nigel Cooper, or by a visiting speaker. The final Sunday of term will also feature Mass service, with the choir singing extracts from Schubert’s Mass in G major.
All events at either College are open to everyone.
