Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR), energy storage materials
I am a physical chemist specialized in solid-state NMR spectroscopy. Since January 2015 I am senior researcher and lab manager in the Grey group in the Department of Chemistry in Cambridge. My current research focuses on nanostructure and dynamics in battery materials. Before, I was research expert Solid-state NMR at the University of Leuven (Belgium). Until September 2013 I was head of the solid-state NMR facility at the Eindhoven University of Technology (Netherlands). As assistant-professor in Eindhoven I carried out teaching in the Bachelor and Master program. In Cambridge I am involved in supervising for undergraduate Chemistry courses. In addition, I am a member of the Royal Society of Chemistry and board member of the Dutch NMR discussion-group within the Royal Dutch Chemistry Society.
