This year's show will support the charity, Refuge.

We are proud to announce that a record number of Murray Edwards students will be taking part in this year’s Cambridge University Charity Fashion Show.

This year, CUCFS will shine a spotlight on Refuge - a charity that raises money to support women who face domestic violence. All money raised by the event will go towards Refuge’s Cambridge branch and will have an incredible impact on the local community. The team behind the fashion show have already raised £3000, demonstrating their admirable commitment to such an important cause.

Isobel Dyson, who will be modelling in the show, shared:

“It’s great to take part in something that represents brilliant creative work and, importantly, helps to highlight Refuge and bring it the attention and backing it deserves.”

Alongside Isobel, Medwards students Micaela Williams, Isobelle Oppon, Emily Lin and Suri Yu will take to the catwalk, showcasing more than 140 designs made by student designers from all over the UK. CUCFS 2026 will consist of five themed ‘walks’ in line with their overall theme - ‘A Walk of Becoming: Eras Unravelled’.

Our college is also well represented behind the scenes, with talented dancer, Téa Ryan, acting as show choreographer, and Iga Szejmo taking on the important role of Welfare Officer on the Executive Committee. Iga praised the event, writing:

“I’m not only extremely lucky but so proud to be a part of the executive team of the CUCFS. It’s been an experience bursting at the seams with creativity and passion, not just for fashion, but also the cause. Refuge is a charity helping women and children flee from domestic abuse. The day of the show is approaching, and I can't wait to see everyone's hard work come to fruition.”

We warmly encourage our community to support the students, and the mission, behind this year’s show by buying tickets and attending the event.

CUCFS will take place in the iconic chamber of the Cambridge Union, on 6 March.

Tickets are currently for sale on the official CUCFS website. You can follow their Instagram (@cucfs) for more ticketing information and sneak peaks of the show from their promotional photoshoots!
