Aimi Weightman wins Cuppers Cross Country

Determined runners from across the University turned up for the Cuppers Cross Country competition at Priory Park - a race that determines who will be selected to compete in the Varsity teams this term. The women ran a 5km course and our Medwards team were thrilled to be placed overall in the top 3 teams.

Massive congratulations go to Aimi Weightman, whose seriously impressive performance secured her 1st place in the race and a spot in the University’s 1sts Blues team!

Outstanding runs also from Izzy Flemming, who came 21st and was selected for the University thirds team, and Mattie Culver who came in 22nd.

We will keep a close eye on upcoming races and wish them all the very best in the challenges ahead.
