Dates of Congregations of the Regent House at which Murray Edwards College proceeds, and your degreee certificate may be conferred, are listed below: The deadline to register is 10 days before your chosen Congregation date.
26 October 2019 - In person and absence - Registration now open
30 November 2019 - In Person & Absence - Registration opens 17 October
25 January 2020 - In Absence only - Registration opens 21 November
22 February 2020 - In Absence only - Registration opens 16 January
25 April 2020 - In Absence only - Registration opens 23 February
16 May - In Absence only - Registration opens 26 April
18 July - In Person & Absence - Registration opens 7 May
Graduands may be admitted to their degrees in person or in absence. Murray Edwards graduands may be presented in absence at any Congregation but may only be presented in person on the specified dates.
If you do not receive a confirmation of receipt email within four working days of applying, please contact the Graduate Administrator.
Preparing for the next Congregation
Please note the separate arrangements for General Admission.
- Please ensure you have made arrangements for hiring and collecting your gowns and hoods.
- All graduands who are receiving their degrees in person must attend a rehearsal in College before proceeding to the Senate House.
- For your information, the day ends approximately one hour after Graduands are due at the Senate House.
Sample timetable for Congregation

|Procession leaves College||25 to 30 minutes before required arrival at Senate House|

|Congregation||Time set by Senate House (usually between 40 and 60 minutes in length)|
Timings will not be confirmed until a week before the Congregation.
