    College accommodation

We provide undergraduate accommodation for the duration of each student's degree, and also have a range of graduate accommodation.

We have a variety of different rooms available on the main College site, including ensuite and split-level.  A small number of rooms can be shared, but this is only ever at students' request. The College also has a number of houses close to the main College site which provide further accommodation.

    College food and drink

During term, students are offered breakfast, lunch and dinner in the spectacular Dome dining hall.

Students, staff and Fellows choose from a hot main course of either meat, vegetarian or fish accompanied by a choice of vegetables, alongside a full salad bar, soup with rolls and hot and cold puddings. There is also a chilled cabinet containing packaged sandwiches, seasonal items, a variety of soft drinks, yoghurt and fresh fruit salad. Crisps, popcorn and chocolate are available near the till.

Brunch is served on Saturdays in term time and we are proud that Murray Edwards brunch has received excellent feedback in  The Cambridge Student, as the top brunch of all the colleges with 82% of votes. The Student Room has also reviewed our brunch as “amazing and very popular”.

Head Chef Joe and his team’s top priorities are to provide a healthy cafeteria menu, with a high level of variety and choice. If you have any special dietary requirements or questions, please contact the Events Team.

In the College walkway near the Porters' Lodge, there is a hot drinks machine and in the College bar there are cold drink and snack vending machines.
