The Admissions Team welcomes your interest. We are:
Dr Susan Haines – Admissions Tutor
I am responsible for all undergraduate recruitment and selection procedures at the College – from initial contact with prospective applicants through to them taking up their place at Cambridge. Before joining the College in August 2019, I was Undergraduate Admissions Tutor at St Edmund's College. I am also a physicist, carrying out research with data provided by the Large Hadron Collider at CERN in Geneva.
Kate Morton – Admissions Administrator
I take responsibility for all the administrative processes involving selection, offers and confirmation. I am always happy to answer enquiries from those applying to the College and am pleased to assist the students who have secured an offer, up to the point at which they join the College. I have worked in this role for 13 years and very much enjoy welcoming each new group of applicants.
Dr Hazel Collinson – Senior Recruitment and Outreach Officer
As well as being responsible for the She Talks Science programme at Murray Edwards College, I run a number of events, including subject taster days and the Pathways to Success conference. I also contribute to the work of the Admissions Office during the admissions round. I enjoy working with students from a range of year groups, as well as teachers. I have previously worked as both a university lecturer and a primary school teacher.
Bethan Wallace – Schools Liaison/Admissions Officer
I am responsible for encouraging students from all backgrounds to apply to Murray Edwards and Cambridge. I am always happy to offer advice to prospective students and answer any questions you may have! Before this role, I was an MPhil student at King’s College, Cambridge studying Zoology.
