Visits to SchoolsTo try to encourage as many gifted students to apply to Murray Edwards College as possible, our Schools Liaison Officer, Jess Burrows, travels to schools to talk with students in years 10, 11, 12 or 13 about the benefits of higher education and attending top universities like Cambridge. These visits are tailored to the schools' needs, and can be arranged outside school hours so as not to disrupt lessons if preferred. If your school would be interested in receiving a visit from Jess, she is currently planning her programme for 2013 and would be happy to consider including your school. You can contact Jess to request a visit by e-mail, phone or post (contact details below). As part of the University-wide Schools Liaison programme, Colleges are linked with specific Local Education Authorities to help develop links within those areas. In addition to the school visits programme, described above, Murray Edwards College is also developing links with schools and colleges in LEA's found in Derbyshire, Greater Manchester and the London borough of Haringey. More details can be found on the University's College area linksweb page. Schools Liaison OfficerMy name is Jess Burrows and I am the Schools Liaison Officer at Murray Edwards College.
