Open Days in 2013

College Open Days allow prospective applicants to visit the college and get a real feel for what life is like at Cambridge. Attendees will be able to meet with current students, Fellows (academic tutors) and our Admissions Team, go on a college tour, and take part in sessions aimed at providing key information about the application process.

College Open Days (all subjects) - Thursday July 4th, Saturday September 7th

Intended for students, primarily in Year 13, who may be interested in applying to Murray Edwards College. These events give potential applicants the chance to see the College for themselves, to hear about the application process and, where possible, to speak with an academic tutor in their chosen subject

Booking is now open for our College Open Day on Thursday 4th July.  If you would like to book a place on this event, please use the booking form here.  The event runs from 10.00-2.00 enabling visiting students to visit the main University of Cambridge Open Day events in the afternoon. (There is usually sufficient free parking available in the College grounds for all those booking/attending the programme at Murray Edwards.)

Mathematics Open Day

In April, Murray Edwards College hosts an annual Maths Open Day, to coincide with the Mathematics Faculty Open Day. The programme aims to give sixth-form students an idea of what it is like to study Mathematics at higher level. More details and booking will be available here in the Spring.

We also run a number of visit days for schools.

We would encourage you to come to a College Open Day if you can as they are specially designed with prospective students in mind.
