Mona Holmlund: PhD in History 2001-2006When I applied to Cambridge I didn't know anything about the college system. So I feel very fortunate indeed to have been accepted at New Hall. I soon discovered that I was a member of a college that was remarkably supportive of its students. As an older student I was pleased at the welcoming environment it was for my husband as well. New Hall proved to be the ideal environment to complete my PhD in a timely manner and I am now happily back in Canada in a part-time Professorship in Art History. |
