Murray Edwards Virtual Tour |
Murray Edwards Virtual TourFounded in 1954 as New Hall, Murray Edwards College is a women's college of the University of Cambridge. It moved to its current location on an ancient Roman site near Castle Hill in 1964. Situated 10 minutes walk from the historic City centre, Murray Edwards has car parking available on site, and has easy access from the M11, the A14 from the North and East, and the A428 from the West, with good links to the three London Airports. See maps and directions for more information. Murray Edwards is a modern, exceptionally friendly and diverse college of some 50 Fellows (both women and men) and 430 students (360 undergraduates and 70 graduate students). The student body is open exclusively to women, and both the academics and students value the opportunity this gives to create a unique community that is liberal, outgoing and relaxed but academically adventurous. For conferences Murray Edwards offers facilities and en-suite accommodation all year round. With 162 bedrooms available outside of Term time (March/April, July/September and December/January) and 12 bedrooms available throughout the year, we are happy to cater for all aspects of your event.
