eduroam is a wireless service, run in various Colleges and Departments around the University. Once the eduroam service has been set up on a computer, it should be possible to automatically connect to it whenever the computer is used in, or around, an institution that supports it. For example, if you connect to eduroam at Murray Edwards, and then take your computer to the Law Faculty, or the Maths Faculty, the Botanic Gardens or Caius (to name a few), your computer should automatically connect to the eduroam wireless network allowing you to access the Internet and other network-related services.
A list of institutions that offer eduroam can be found at http://www.lapwing.cam.ac.uk/lapwing.php.
