Murray Edwards College Film Festivals

Designed as a new way of bringing compelling independent cinema from around the world to Cambridge, the Murray Edwards College Film Festivals have expanded radically over the past years. Twice each year, in the autumn and spring, our weekend festivals manage to attract numerous and enthusiastic viewers to Buckingham House, to unearth classical gems or discover exciting new films and the views of independent directors, who, from time to time, come to us to speak, in an informal environment, about their work.

Thanks to the generous support of various sponsors, our festivals are free: one more good reason to come and join us as we explore the other face of cinema.
