Alumnae Weekend 2018
Please join us for the much loved Alumnae Weekend festivities, the programme for which includes a lecture, dinner and tours of the College. We particularly welcome reunion years 1958, 1968, 1978, 1988, 1998 and 2008.
Saturday 22nd September
- Lecture and College Update, 16:45-18:15 in Buckingham House
- Alumnae Weekend Dinner, 18:45-22:00 in Fellows’ Drawing Room and Dome
Tea and coffee will be served in Buckingham House prior to the lecture starting at 17:00 sharp, where Professor Christina Strunck (New Hall, 1991) will present “The making of a College: the untold story” and share the findings from her research into the plans for the design of New Hall / Murray Edwards College.
After the lecture, there will be a College Update and Q&A with the New Hall Society Committee.

Join us for an evening of reminiscing and friendship! There will be a drinks reception in the Fellows’ Drawing Room, followed by a three course dinner with wine in the Dome. Afterwards, there will be live music and dancing.

Sunday 23rd September
- Art & Garden tour, meet at 11:00 at the Rosemary Murray Library
The Grade II surroundings of Murray Edwards College (Chamberlain, Powell & Bon, 1960) are home to award winning gardens, an internationally acclaimed art collection and a bountiful archive & library amongst and within the celebrated Brutalist architecture. Our gardeners and librarians will be delighted to tell you more.
