Dr Evaleila PesaranFellow in Politics Murray Edwards College Telephone: 01223 762280 ProfileDr Evaleila Pesaran is a College Lecturer in Politics. Her research interests include processes of economic and political liberalisation in the developing world; the endurance of authoritarian states; and the politics of economic reform in the Middle East, with a focus on post-revolutionary Iran in particular. She received her BA in Persian Studies from the University of Oxford (Wadham College) and her MSc in Development Studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London. She completed her doctoral thesis, which examined the debate over foreign investment in post-revolutionary Iran, at the Department of Politics and International Studies, SOAS. Links to other pages |
