Dr Hilarie BatemanMurray Edwards College I have been Admissions Tutor and Fellow in the College since January 2006. Previously I worked in a number of different Universities (including Nottingham University, Loughborough University and the Open University) and in various different academic departments (including Primary Care and Environmental Physics). I completed my PhD (by publication) in 2003. My research concentrated on the translation of policy into practice in the field of primary care research and development. At Murray Edwards College I am both the Admissions Tutor (responsible for all aspects of selection and admission) and a College Tutor (providing pastoral support to a group of current students). I joined the College because I was impressed by its outgoing, positive and warm approach. It is now a great privilege and pleasure to be part of the process (admissions) that allows others to experience what Murray Edwards has to offer.
