Private Dining and Banqueting RoomsExcellent for parties in Cambridge, our 3 very different private dining rooms offer the ideal venue choice for parties. Dining and banqueting rooms are available for hosting events from large conference dinners to smaller, more intimate affairs. With rooms suitable for groups from 15 – 70 people, we have the perfect all round venue for a variety of functions. The Council RoomThe Council Room is an ideal space for dinner parties of up to 40 people. The room is furnished with beautiful cherry wood tables and leather chairs and boasts an eclectic mix of paintings from the New Hall Art Collection.
The Long RoomThe Long Room is one of our most versatile dining rooms, seating up to 100 guests banquet style or 80 guests cabaret style. There is space for up to 160 guests for informal finger buffets and drinks receptions.
The Fellows' Drawing Room and Dining RoomOverlooking private gardens, this beautiful suite of rooms is normally reserved exclusively for the use of Murray Edwards’ Fellows, but is available for some special dinner events. The Fellows' Dining Room has high windows overlooking private gardens and is tastefully decorated with wall tapestries, paintings and sculptures. The Fellows' Drawing Room, which leads into the Dining Room, is furnished with comfortable leather chairs and oriental rugs and is a perfect venue for pre-dinner drinks.
