Roles and responsibilities

New Hall Developments Ltd., a company wholly owned by Murray Edwards College, Cambridge, handles major collegiate property development activities. It acts as main contractor on behalf of Murray Edwards College, Cambridge and then contracts with building contractors and consultants as appropriate for the planning, design and implementation of relevant developments. It exists to maximise the efficiency of the financial and taxation arrangements available to the College for such work.

Articles of Association

New Hall Developments Ltd. is registered at Companies House (company number 3721386), and was incorporated on 25 February 1999. The previous name of the company was New Hall Conferences Ltd, and the change was made on 15 June 1999.

Board membership

The Directors of New Hall Developments Ltd. comprise the President, the Bursar and one other Fellow of Murray Edwards College. The Directors receive no remuneration.

Senior executives

The President of Murray Edwards College is the Chairman, and her services are provided to the Company for that purpose by Murray Edwards College.
