European Girls' Mathematical Olympiad (EGMO 2012)Tuesday 10th April 2012Countries are sending teams of their strongest four female mathematicians of school age to compete at the inaugural European Girls' Mathematical Olympiad, hosted by Murray Edwards (in partnership with United Kingdom Mathematics Trust) from 10 - 16 April 2012. This groundbreaking competition has been developed to enable more girls in the UK, and across Europe, to develop and pursue their interest in mathematics and to compete at the highest level nationally and internationally. It is expected that many participants will go on to succeed at the top universities across the world, including Cambridge.
